Botanical Description

Clematis barbellata is a deciduous climbing plant with somewhat woody stems growing up to 4 metres tall. A twining plant, the leafstalks wrap themselves around twigs and branches for support. The plant is harvested from the wild for local use as a medicine and material for tying.
