Botanical Description

Miconia longifolia is a tree with an open crown; it usually grows 4 - 9 metres tall, occasionally reaching 13.5 metres. The moderately cylindrical bole can be straight or contorted; it often branches from the base, but sometimes has a clear bole for up to two metres, it can be 17 - 35cm in diameter[ 453 Title Woods of Northeastern Peru Publication Author Williams L.
