Newtonia buchananii

Botanical Description

Newtonia buchananii is a deciduous tree with a flat-topped crown and wide-spreading branches; it can grow from 10 - 40 metres tall. The usually straight and cylindrical bole can be unbranched for up to 18 metres, though usually less, it is usually up to 100cm in diameter, but exceptionally to 185cm.
