Botanical Description

Dinochloa dielsiana is an evergreen, climbing bamboo forming a dense clump of stems 20 - 25 metres tall from a short, woody rhizome. The woody culms are around 25mm in diameter. The plant is harvested from the wild for local use as a drink, medicine and source of materials.
