Botanical Description
Euphorbia bussei is a succulent tree that usually grows up to 10 metres tall, though specimens up to 15 metres have been recorded. Young plants branch horizontally from the ground, developing a cylindrical naked trunk, surmounted by a rounded crown of curved ascending branches, as they grow older. The plant is leafless, photosynthesis being carried out by the succulent, green spiny stems.
