Botanical Description
Cephalostachyum capitatum is a perennial, evergreen, clump-forming bamboo with a short rhizome. The culms, which can be leaning, or scandent, are 4 - 10 metres long, 25 - 30mm in diameter with thin-walled internodes 60 - 100cm long. The culms are harvested from the wild for local use.
