Botanical Description

Gigantochloa achmadii is a perennial, evergreen, clump-forming bamboo growing 10 - 20 metres tall. The erect, woody culms are 50 - 90mm in diameter with internodes 25 - 35cm long. The culms are potentially useful for construction.
