Botanical Description

Forsteronia gracilis is a climbing shrub, its relatively slender stems supporting themselves by means of twining around other plants. The tree is harvested from the wild for local medicinal uses. A latex obtained from the stem has been used as a source of rubber, but it is not of commercial quality.
